Consumer Bankruptcy Filings at Highest Level Since 2005

Bankruptcy Law The American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI) issued their report yesterday detailing statistics in the bankruptcy industry for the first half of 2010. The data shows a 14% increase in consumer bankruptcy cases from the same period in 2009. ABI expects more than 1.6 million bankruptcy filings in total by the end of 2010.
